As one grad typically replied, “Everything. It was soooooo good seeing everyone again. You all did a fantastic job. It was nice having it at a hotel and the meet-up Friday was lovely. When is the next one?”

Cited most. There were a lot of positive mentions of the informal gathering at the American Legion on Friday night. That and the obvious chance to reconnect with classmates who might live halfway across the country. It was heartening to see that so many bonds still exist after half a century

As to what grads didn’t like about the reunion weekend, the prevailing theme there, surprisingly, was that there was nothing bad about it. If anything stood out, and only mildly, it was that the dinner prices were high and grads preferred a less-formal setting. Those will be taken under advisement.

One respondent wrapped it up nicely, when answering the question if there were any further comments that might be helpful to the reunion committee: “I think you folks did a spectacular job. Hearing Jon’s (emcee Mathisrud) assurance that you had a great time putting it all together made me feel somewhat less guilty about not being involved. Many thanks!”
